The Aegis Avenger Warlock has the strongest EMP generator currently being able to do almost as much damage as a Aegis Vanguard Sentinel. But before I answer your answers there are a few rule-of-thumb things you should know about ships with EMP generators I’m using the Anvil Hawk as my main and I do have to say that the Hawk is a very fun ship to use but like all ships it has it a weakness and it is it’s weapon selection. Ultraflow : Levski : 27,550 / Burst : Grim Hex: 13,100 It offers relatively high speeds while allowing you to save enough QT fuel to get to Arccorp and Hurston in one go and a bit more. Overclock these bitches too Mirage : Levski : 28,600/Palisade : HUR-元 : 23,200Ĭooler, use the Ultraflow coolers since they have the highest cooling rate. With that now out of the way, NPC’s use ballistic weapons and players will most likely use Sledges/Strife Mass Drivers/Mantis which are all ballistic weapons. The 2xFR-66 have a higher shield HP+shield HP regen than the previous two combination however it still is highly prone to ballistic weapons and also, when the shields get damaged, it takes around 4-5 seconds before it begins to recharge the shields, where as the previous two combinations will begin to recharge the shield effective immediately. However it offers slightly faster shield HP regen but won’t matter if ballistics are penetrating through your shields. The FR-66+Mirage offers lower shield HP and it's easier for ballistics to penetrate the shields and hit the hull due to the lower physical absorption and hardening factor compared to the Palisades. NN-13 Neutron Autocannons : Port Olisar : 7450Īs for shields.some people are opting for the FR-66 and not Palisade+Mirage and I cant stress enough how big a mistake this is, especially more so on a Hawk since it can easily lose parts.Ĭompared to the FR-66+Mirage combo, the Palisade+Mirage combination offers higher shield HP while offering better defense against ballistics (which are the META), however it is just very slightly slower shield HP regen. If you want some good firepower I recommend the S1 NN-13 Neutron Cannons. It has more than enough power to power any META build, powering all your ships systems during heavy loads in combat, while keeping itself very cool allowing the coolers to work on other ship components. However, If you want to use 6 x Dominance S1 scatter guns you’ll need to a powerplant with large enough power capacity. I don’t recommend using scatterguns since they’re only effective at 400m~600m range where other ships with other guns will start gunning you down at 2x or even 3x the range. U/PeppaPigKilla written by Erebus-Kingsley Is there any other information about the Hawk you think I should know that I may not already be aware about?ĭo you have any setup suggestions for the hawk? What exactly is the EMP range for a Hawk?Īre distortion weapons like the sucker punch still not working properly? Will they be worth using once functioning as intended?Īre scatter guns really worth looking into for the Hawk? If I should be burning shields first should I be running NN-13s instead of GT-210s so that I can do more damage to shields? Should I be using EMP to burn shields, or use it once shields are down to overload power and shut down the ship? This being said I feel like I’ve seen or heard conflicting information at times, and this could use some answers. Which is great! I’m at the point in playing that I feel it’s time for me to really dig deep into understanding on a deeper level how I should be using my ship. I feel like I’m constantly learning new things in star citizen, and that make me reevaluate how I’m operating.
